My Crown hot water boiler is about 9 years old and uses far too much propane than it should. Please help?

My boiler mate is using about 800 gallons of propane a year to heat water and the house. I have had it cleaned and serviced and still see no improvement in its usage. My home is about 1200 with new windows, siding and insulation. I recently purchased electric heaters to heat with, so I am only heating hot water for showers and such. There is only 3 of us in the house and the boiler mate is still using about 70 gallons a month just to heat hot water. Someone told me that we should be averaging about 15 gallons to heat the hot water. It is a Crown Gas fired hot water induced draft boiler with a bock boiler mate. I have hot water baseboard in the house. Please help the propane is outrageous. I am going to put an electric hot water tank in and heat with space heaters. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for reading this.

What are acceptable piercings while in the Marine Corps DEP? Need help!?

I enlisted in the marines and understand that no tattoos are allowed at all until after boot camp, and no sleeves or anything like that either. I haven't been able to find or hear anything about piercing policy though. I leave for boot camp in 3 months and want to pierce and gauge my ears (not very big, maybe a 4 or 2). They should be able to heal enough to be acceptable if I take them out before basic. I made a movie to this song a while back and posted it on youtube. And finally, after two years, someone has made a claim on the song and now there will be various ads in it because I don't own it. Now, I don't mind that much. I mean, I didn't make the song. It's annoying that they may post ads over my art, but still. It wasn't my song. However, the group that made the claim, UMG, doesn't seem to own it either. I looked all other their site and searched and everything. I have been drinking a gl of cranberry juice each day, as this cleans out all the inpurities in your system and I found this cleared my skin up and I'm not prone to getting as many spots now. Freezing and storing fresh talapia?

So, this is the first time I have ever bought and stored talapia myself. I bought fresh (thawed) talapia from giant 3 days ago. I put it straight into the freezer when I got home in its original package that I purchased it in. Since, I have read somewhere that when buying fresh talapia if you are not planning to prepare and eat the fish within two days but are storing it for later use to "remove it from its original packaging and wrap in foil to sore in it in the freezer". Is this necessary? Has anyone else froze and stored their fresh talapia in its original package? Is this still safe to prepare and eat? Thanks.

Why have my rear usb ports stopped working?

This is a computer for business use only so there is no abuse to the machine as far as downloads or other recreational fun. It was working fine all day long and and after about an hour of not using it all of the lock symbols on the key board lit up (caps lock, scroll lock, num lock). None of the keys were responding but the mouse still worked. I rebooted the pc and it would not start up. It kept getting to the configuration step and saying keyboard failure. I unplugged the keyboard and swapped it with the mouse and the computer started fine, but now the mouse wont work. I have four usb ports in the back of the pc and all of the sudden three of them went out. I did not change any settings or mess with anything. What can cause this and how can I fix it?

I want a fake lash looking mascara?

I really want a mascara that gives a fake lash look, its waterproof and it doesn't flake, clump or smudge throughout the day, the problem i find with mascaras its not that i can't get the desired effect but after a couple of hours because i have combination skin I find black smudges just beneath my lower lashes (where dark circles could be). Also a key factor is the price I really don't want to spend anymore than �8. The last mascara I had was the maybelliene Great Lash, it gets them high and curly, but they look like spiders and smudges terribly! Even though I had heard such rave reviews. The mascara I have used to date with the most success is the Maybelliene define-a-lash, which was fab at lengthening but wasn't very good at thickening.

A club at our college is going to be going on a trip soon by our college, it's budget is partially funded by our Club Budget and we'd request another $3000 from our Student Senate. Trying to be a good daddy.....?

ok so me and my hubby just had a baby a month ago. He is 20 and he tries to be a good dad. Let me rephrase that, he is a good daddy except when he is tired and she is crying for no reason. ok so my GF and i are both 15 and have been going out for 3 months now. we started out as really good friends until i asked her out and she said yes she liked me cause i was "sweet and funny". we sometimes go to each others house and she almost always wants to cuddle on the couch she says im her " big cuddly teddy bear". she also likes to sit on my lap shes says im soft and comfy and she said to me "Santa Claus has got nothing on you" i thought that was funny. im 5'8 and 255 pounds so i know i am fat, but i am perfectly happy with who i am. and shes not fat at all she is a small girl shes 5'0 and im going to guess around 100 pounds, and she is super gorgeous. we sometimes playfully tease eachother about our size like i will tease about how short she is and she will tease about my weight but we both jave high self asteem and we know were just kidding. the only thing im curious about is when ever we hug and kiss she likes to grab on to and hold my fat rolls and love handles like yesterday when i came out of baseball practice and she came out of tennis practice she did that while we were hugging and kissing, also while we cuddle she likes to squeeze and rub my belly. really dont care that shes doing this. if anything i like that she does that feels good i guess. i guess im just curious. her past BF have been averaged sized, or muscular 6 pack guys im her first big BF

IS the Cowboys/Packers game getting the hype that the NE/Indy Game got? And will it live up to it?

It will not get the same hype. There are no bigger teams than the colts and the patriots over the past couple years. That game this year was defending champ vs. arguably the best team...ever. This game is the two best NFC teams up against each other. It just isn't on the same level. A lot of people (me not one of them) are still waiting for the Packers to prove themselves this season. No one thinks they should be where they are. I doubt anybody will be able to argue against them anymore if they win next week. So what it comes down to is that there will be a ton of hype but it just cannot come even close to NE vs IND.

Am i really that annoying?

I will admit that i do mess with people at school, and then theyll get irritated at me because im annoying. Then theyll turn back around and talk to me again so it must not bother them that much. But then when i look around the room i see people doing things that i think are even more annoying that what im doing (it's almost obviously more annoying, its so bad it bothers me across the room.) 1994 Volvo 940 Overdrive Issue?

Just bought this Volvo. When I start the car, the orange arrow indicator is illuminated. It shouldn't be on when the car is started. I press the overdrive on the shifter, but nothing happens. I've heard/read that this is a common problem on these cars. What is the common cause and how do I go about fixing it? The car currently doesn't engage 4th gear, so I can't take the car on the highway.

So I thought I had missed my ovulation window so I stopped using my ovulation tests. I started having mittelschmerz yesterday morning and it just got worse throughout the day and I didn't think twice about it...so it's about 6pm and its the worst of that day and my husband said to take an ovulation test. So for the heck of it I did and its a smiley face!!!! So we BD a half hour later. I also used PreSeed which I heard can be useful in getting pregnant since it mimics CM. I still had mittelschmerz throughtout the evening but not nearly as bad as it was and this morning I took another ovulation test to see if I still had a LH Surge and it was negative and I feel tender around my abdomen but really nothing that bad...just maybe a twinge? Can conception still have occured if I was a few hours away from ovulation? I know the ovulation test I used (ClearBlue Easy Digital) said that when you have a positive, it means you'll be ovulating in 24-36 hours. I just want to know if we could have concieved or if I was too close to ovulation for anything to occur.

Did anyone see a huge blue flash last night in southern Ca about 9:00pm?

At about 9Pm last night 05-04-2011, The whole sky as far as i could see in the distance lit up with a bright blue flash that illuminated a couple of times before it got super bright then it was gone. a friend of mine was driving the opposite direction saw it and called me to ask if I had seen it, but he also said it took up whole sky in that direction also. This was huge and no way could have been a transformer blowing, ive seen those before and it is nowhere near the size or brightness of this.

when each person's vote doesn't count the same as someone else's. In Alaska there are 209,000 votes for 1 electoral vote and in TX there are 615,000 votes for 1 electoral vote. Why should someone's vote count for more because they live in a less populated area? Each vote should count as an individual. When people use the argument "because then cali and NY would decide the election" what do they mean? that's where more people live but their votes shouldn't count for less right? we divide this country up into states too easy, we all need to come together as one union, not 50 separate entities. what do you all think?

Visible Chest hair while wearing shirts problem?

I have a bit of chest hair and it's hereditary in my family. I don't want to shve or wax but I shave at my neck so that you can't ususally see it when wearing a normal t-shirt. However, when wearing wide necked or big t-shirts, it's visible. it's embaraasing because at my age, 16, most people either don't have it or shave, which I don't want to do. Are there like undershirts or inventive ideas people have to cover it up. I only have this problem with a few of my shirts that are big but I dont want to wear tight shirts all the time. Glazed brake. Am I fixing it correctly?

A few weeks ago I did Brake job. I replaced the pads and 3 rotors. I found that one of the rear calipers had seized when I drove about five miles and was overtaken by a cloud of smoke. I replaced that caliper the next day. Now, when coming to stop, in the 10 to 3 Mph range that wheel moans at approximately 500 Hz. I ume the heat glased the pad and perhaps coated the rotor with something like carbonized brake fluid. I've never had this problem before (in 33 years of working on cars) but I plan to take off the rotor and pads and give them a light sanding with 120 paper. I don't feel like buying a new set of pads and taking the other side apart too.

Why cant hollywood leave clic films alone?

I think for some production companies are in it for the money, but i know for a fact that the director is always trying to incorporate the current culture into these clic films to create a new (remake) to appeal to the current generation and for the next few generations to follow. No director wants to make a bad remake, this is not good for their career or for anyone really. But i mean look at the new Batman series it trumps the older films as far as story and quality (in my opinion) because it is much more relate-able, this doesn't take away from the older (clic) films at all though i still love them for what they are and were for their time.

What to do about oily skin?

I have had VERY oily skin for a long time now (I'm nearly 16). When I was younger I used to get spots with it too, but I don't get spots anymore (due to age and this stuff I got from the doctor, and also being on the pill which I heard helps to prevent spots). I went to the doctor and got some cream for my spots, and that stopped my oily skin for about a week. I asked my doctor what I could do about my oily skin, and he told me that I should let my skin breathe and not wear make-up. However, my skin is still very oily even when I don't wear make-up, though it is more oily when I do wear make-up, but still.. My mum also has oily skin, so I'm afraid it could be a hereditary thing.. What can I do to reduce the oiliness of my skin?

Which A/C system best for Texas climate?

I'm in the process of buying a home that will take a bit of "fixer-upper" work, including upgrading the Central A/C system. The current system is an undersized Bryant Heat Pump. I live in North Texas, where we have drier climates and sweltering summers. Have you ever seen so many plays where the defense ends up looking around, confused or dumbstruck? I'm not trying to talk trash here, although I hate the Pats and I'm glad they lost. They give you formula in bottles at the hospital and every baby is different. You shouldnt need diapers at the hospital. You only bring stuff you need, and a change of clothes for baby when you leave or if you want pics dont. There is no way to ever be prepared. Im sure everything will be fine this time.

They are going to examine the ankle to see if what laxity there is which would indicate a tear in the ligaments that stabilize the ankle. If the ligaments are torn enough they are going to place you in some sort of stabilization system. If it is a small tear they may not do any stabilization. If there is a small to moderate tear they will use a device called an AirCast. If it is heavily torn then they will cast you. Crutches may be used if the tear is a moderate one to keep weight off the ankle.

I have alot of experience smithing with my Metalworking instructor in Boy Scouts. I started out growing some different herbs from seed in a container inside the house that I now want to transfer to a flower box outside. The problem is, while I was waiting for my herbs to get big enough to put outside, a friend of mine had given me a small mint plant. It was little but already big enough to go in the box; well in a matter of weeks, my "little" mint plant has managered to take over nearly half of my flower box! I am trying to book a bus trip from Toledo, Ohio to Charlotte,NC through Megabus.com. It has two stops where I change buses in Pittsburgh and DC. I wear a size 11 shoe and like the 7.625 decks, shoe size has nothing to do with it. 129 and 139 both work on a 7.75 deck 129 is mostly for 7.5-7.625 but also fits great on a 7.75, not that much of a differance from a 7.6 about a 1/4 of an inch doesn't make much differance it's mostly whats comfortable on your feet. 99a/101a are not for street that's the hardest wheels can get and you want soft wheels...google it if you arn't super sure and you'll see. 80's to mid 90's is good for street, soft wheels and med size(53mm-55mm) is what you want for street. Street skating is all I really ever do and have done for 18 years. doing a lot of freestyle and grinds you'll want a good truck setup. most light trucks arn't going to take the abuse of all that, indy's, grind kings, ventures are some great trucks for doing freestyle, flat land and grind tricks. bones reds are grat you can also check out pig checkers or some lucky's abec 7's. these take a bit more to break in but once they are they'll last a long time and take all kinds of abuse.

You might know him, his name is Marshall Faulk he was pretty good. CJ broke 2,000 yards in just his 2nd year, AP hasn't even ped 1,800 and he's got a year on CJ.
