Does anyone know how to disconnect an Brink's alarm system in their house -?

We rent and are not allowed to have it connected, yet we cannot disconnect it! Every night it beeps until you hit cancel. I don;t want to have to cut the wires. I have done everything that the people at Brinks have told me. It's been 2 and a half years and I'm kind of sick of it!
