Who will be considered the better runback when they retire Adrian Peterson or Chris Johnson?
All of this non sense about CJ's speed going away is ridiculous. Even when he gets older, he'll still be faster than most players. Cody I don't know what kind of football you watch, but Tomlinson has the single season TD record. CJ broke a record previously held by the greatest all-purpose back ever. You might know him, his name is Marshall Faulk he was pretty good. CJ broke 2,000 yards in just his 2nd year, AP hasn't even ped 1,800 and he's got a year on CJ. Johnson doesn't take nearly as many hits as AP because he just runs past everyone. He also does all of this without a ping game like AP has. Peterson fumbles pretty much every game, CJ has like 4 career fumbles. Chris Johnson is still getting better which is very scary. You definitely can't make this decision right now, maybe later on. How about these names Chris Johnson is being mentioned with after this season; Barry Sanders, Eric erson, Terrell Davis, Jamaal Lewis, O.J. Simpson, Earl Campbell, and Marshall Faulk. Don't misinterpret what I just said, in no way, shape, or form am I comparing Chris Johnson to those preceding names. But what CJ did this past season is what those guys have also done. There's still a lot of football for these guys, and hopefully both have full careers and make the HOF. I'm very excited that I get to watch these guys play on Sunday.
